Summer Game

This is a game I often play with my 4year old and 3yr old gets them thinking and interested especially when we are getting ready for our holidays.

I sit with my children at the table with a big piece of paper and felt pens, crayons, as it involves being creative drawing pictures.

I start by saying lets think of anything to do with hot weather when Mr Sun comes out and what we would take on our holidays.

So my 4yr old shouts out shorts then I say draw me some shorts I of course draw my shorts and then they give me their own interpretation.
We then draw ice lollys, my 3 yr old gets very creative and draws her own beach, sun hats, ice cream van, sand buckets, spades.

I think this is a good game as it gets my children invovled and we fill our paper with lots of drawings for summer.
It also keeps them very occupied and can be done any time of the day
