Shapes learning activities

Hi All

This is a nice and easy learning game you can play when driving with a young child. I find it will keep my toddler occupied for quite a while.

All you say is "can you see a circle" or "can you see a square". They have to then look outside the car or even in for that matter. If they see a car wheel and shout circle then they have won that game.

Then you ask the next shape a square. If they see a window and shout square then they have won the next game.

You could try other shapes like a triangle, an oblong.

Things like pentagons and stars tend to be a bit thin on the ground when your out driving. So you will have to keep repeating the shapes. I just carry on until they fed up with the game.

It's a nice way to pass the time on a long journey. Hope you like it and give it a go.
