Cupcake recipeCupcake recipe Ingredients: 2 1/4 cups all purpose flour 1 1/3 cups sugar 3 teaspoons baking powder 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/2 cup shortening 1 cup milk 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 2 large eggs Method: Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (180 degrees C). Then line your cupcake pans with paper liners. Mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a large mixing bowl. Then add shortening, milk, and vanilla. Mix well for 1 minute with an electric whisk on medium speed. Scrape side of the bowl with a spatula to get everything well mixed in . Add the eggs to the mixture. mix well for one minute on medium speed with your electric whisk. Scrape the sides of the bowl again. mix on high speed for 1 1/2 minutes 30 until well mixed. Spoon cake mix into paper liners until 1/2 to 2/3 full. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes until golden brown around the edges. You can test if cooked properly by pushing a toothpick into the center of one cake and see if it comes out clean. Cool for 5 minutes in pans then remove and place on wire racks to cool completely. Once your cakes are completely cooled. You can decorate with icing sugar and other toppings such as candy or hundred and thousands.
