Corn bread recipeCorn bread Ingredients: 1/4 Cup of sugar 1 Cup of flour 1 Cup of yellow cornmeal 1/4 Cup of shortening 1 Cup of milk 2 Eggs 2 tblsp of baking powder Pinch of salt Method: Sift together flour, salt, sugar and baking powder. Stir in the cornmeal and egg, then add shortening and mix until smooth. Pour into a well greased bread tin. Cook in the oven for 20 to 25 minutes at 180 Celsius or gas mark 5 . This is a delicious bread that can be eaten on its own or with other things. |
